Understand the parts of a URL
Separate a URL into its scheme, hostname, port, path, query string and fragment. Repeated query parameters are kept in order. The parser shows the normalized URL used by the browser and decodes query parameters using URL form rules.
The address is never opened or fetched. Parsing does not verify website safety, TLS certificates or reachability. Inputs stay in this page and are not added to the address bar or browser storage. URLs containing a username or password are rejected.
